Travelling with Children

Children under 6 months must be in a properly fitted/adjusted and suitable rearward facing child restraint. Children 6 months or older but less than 12 months must be in either a rearward facing restraint or a forward facing restraint.

In taxis, children 12 months or older but under 16 years old must be in an independent seating position either on a booster seat and use a seatbelt that is properly. fitted, adjusted and suitable

Travelling with Assistance Animals

At Silver Taxi Cab Service, we understand the importance of training and educating our drivers on the appropriate procedures for transporting passengers accompanied by assistance animals. We take pride in providing inclusive and respectful service and welcome assistance animals in all our taxis.

As per the law, drivers are strictly prohibited from refusing transport to a passenger accompanied by an assistance animal. Any refusal to comply with this legal obligation is considered a serious breach of conduct and may result in disciplinary action, including termination and fines.

Passengers may be asked to present an official identity card verifying that their companion is a recognized assistance animal.

Please note that the transport of non-assistance animals is at the discretion of the driver and may be subject to the taxi owner's individual policies.
